I run two machines at home, one for gaming (Linux) and a Mac Mini for music production. I don’t do much else on the Mac so I am genuinely curious - in what ways do Macs not let you do what you want? I’ve had to allow unsigned apps a handful of times, but I was never stopped from running them.
Honestly it’s been so long since I even touched an apple product that I couldn’t give you specifics, but when I did try them out the interoperability with every other device I had sucked. Literally everything I tried to do was a pain in the ass. It was a constant fight against things that were clearly intended to force me into using only their products Between that and their design decisions that have been followed by every other phone manufacturer leading to the complete enshittificaiion of the smartphone, I’ve sworn of that company completely.
