I mean I’d say that’s too simplistic and also isn’t a threat/challenge. That doesn’t call their bluff, thus its passive, signals weakness.
My approach is to try to out troll the troll, yours is more or less literally ‘your mom’, which, why would you even bother writing anything?; this will just insult the troll in terms of it being a low effort attempt at a clapback, they’ll certainly continue escalating.
I wrote a whole thing, but this clearly was a playful punch in the arm. If you just punch them back, you can have a laugh. Responding with “lol” would defuse more than trying to be intellectual in your comeback
