Felt like sharing my art. I started drawing again since a few months ago, and I felt like I improved a lot. Got into digital art after getting a tablet, and here is what I can draw now.

One character from a world I imagined as a kid, drawing was a way for me to give life to this world of my imagination.

Alternative version I made. I use layers, and I found it useful to alter a drawing without erasing everything, or just to make the drawing in parts and if need to erase, it’s not gonna make me redo everything.

The blue papers get you into the city in the background? The witch is dying the papers in the pool and selling them as counterfeit city passes?

    “My party requires 4…”

Holds out large bag of dried motherwort gesturing trade offer

Heh, funny you mention a party of 4 when I always imagined 4 heroes, a party of 4, in this kingdom she is into.

The papers are spellbooks and magic research papers, I imagine Lokina as a very powerful mage but is treated as an outcast by the Mage’s Guild, which is one building/city/academy in the background.

She was also the princess of the kingdom of Asgalia, whose castle is further in the background, before it fell apart due to a revolution, though, she never was involved into royal family stuff, she was the kind to leave the house and never return.

To study magic with every mage, being talented and record magic of them all, submit the notion of spellbook technology, where anyone could use magic recorded in a spellbook (like using GenAI, like she is stealing others’ magic spells).

Her greatest feat was record the magic of every living mage within a spellbook. Every mage treated her like an outcast ever since because of that, she is not allowed to interact with any mage, and this remains true 5 centuries later.

I can give more details, if needed, but feels like already too long of a comment~

No, we appreciate your words Scribe; and perhaps Lokina may not have seen the royal city seal in her time with the royal fam, but the four of us (4 is indeed the correct number for a proper party) require a city pass. We were hired to kidnap the current king of Astalia, so any other advice such as the layout of the royal quarters would be appreciated.

Also, please don’t tell anyone that we are here to kidnap the evil king.

Have no worries, adventurers, the castle you see is in ruins and hasn’t been used for centuries. You should instead head west and you shall find the capital of this kingdom named Asgal. Do not worry about directions as you shan’t miss the castle in there.

I do not have a city pass, alas, but you may head westward, find the Assassin’s Guild beyond the city walls. They shall judge if thy plan is worth a backing, grant you a pass for the capital. (And I imagine the leader of that guild would arrest these four adventurers because she is a hero of the kingdom, despite being an assassin).

You shan’t hear a word of mine about this sinister attempt you plan. Fare thee well, adventurers.

We were explicitly told to not approach any guilds within city walls.

Thank you, kind stranger…if you could recommend a decent pub, Vlardi requires honey mead.
