If 2/3 causes it, sounds like 1/2 is your dose.

I have this worse with Delta 9 than I do Delta 8, too.

The annoying thing is it’s really hard to precisely cut the gummy so I’m in a sweet spot. The phenomenon seems to happen I think somewhere between 1/2 and 2/3, but it can vary. It’s such a narrow window between minimal effect and too much for me. I’m also wondering if maybe the gummies have “hot spots” where some areas are more or less concentrated, making it more difficult for me to accurately dose.

Interesting that it happens more often with delta 9 than delta 8 with you. I’m wondering if that might make a difference. I went with delta 9 as it’s supposed to be closer to actual weed.

Weed is a complicated thing, and different breeds can have different balances of each derivative cannibinoid. Even within the same plant it might vary slightly.

Delta 8 is more prevalent in “hemp”, so it’s often easier to get, but definitely my preference.

Also if it’s hard to cut evenly in half, maybe aim for quarters or thirds of it? Try dosing around that point at first, you’ll get more doses and can better have a mild effect rather than a full high.

Damn, they turned getting stoned into a fuckung science now. Back in my days, we would smoke whatever someone bought from a shady dude behind the school, and we were happy with it!!

Jokes aside, it is a fascinating subject. I rarely smoke these days, since I tend to be less alert for way longer than my schedule allows, but it is really interesting how things move from “folk wisdom” to actual evidence-backed papers.
