Trying out a different curled lead-in. Also trying to put a bit more emphasis on the lowercase ‘r’, hope it’s starting to show more clear definition.

Approximately 9.5 inches or 24.1 centimeters long.

Or ~1.357 bananas long, for those that measure in common units… 🍌

I love your work on these. I have done similar using copper house wiring stripped of its insulation (you can then have more material to work with for longer words, and it’s a bit more flexible.). I then take a small hammer and tap the wire flat, then attached it to a small signboard i made.

Chains are fun as well. Make loops and flatten them so they are sturdier and attach them together!

Oof, this one is extra funny…

I’ve been making these for other people at $5 a letter, discounting the lowercase ‘i’ as free since it’s so simple. I’ve mostly been making these upon request for people looking to give them away as birthday or Christmas presents, so typically I’m not communicating directly with the final intended recipient.

Anyways, I got the request for Miranda over text message. Welp, apparently that’s not what the person requesting intended to type, autocorrect must have jumped in to spell Miranda for whatever reason LMFAO!

Soo… I have a random Miranda to try to sell. I do happen t know a Miranda, she’s been the manager at a local convenience/beer store/gas station for over a decade, so I went in and asked a cashier if she’s working today. Apparently not working today, but she still works there some days at least.

The cashier I spoke with, Trisha, is interested, an said she’s gonna get me a list of names to bend! Yay, an autocorrected miscommunication is getting me even more requests!!! 👍

So far, 8 letters is the longest I’ve been able to get out of a coathanger. I have a request for a 9 letter name, I might be able to pull that off if I work with smaller letters, but the smaller the letters, the more difficult the bends ya know…
