They dont and it usually ruins whatever it is they created, at least for me. Its such a quick and easy thing to do as well.
Maybe it’s more like a dick, but with acid instead of blood. It get’s deflated, not slurped back.
Or maybe it’s like woodpeckers tongue and has it’s own special pocket to hide.
Or it’s actually part of the throat and xenomorph literally throws part of it’s digestive system at you.
I don’t know what is worse get killed by an erectil mouth with steel teeth.
Or get predigested.
Luckily if you’re in that situation, you won’t have too much time to think about it
Or even worst kept captive in their hive to get impregnated and died by a chest buster.
I remember reading an Aliens VS Predator book wherein someone described facehuggers as an “ambulatory dick.”
In that same book, a character described humanity as “raping the planet” and another character said “I don’t remember sticking my dick in the dirt recently.”
Neither of those struck me as strange at the time and I haven’t thought of the book much since until now, but maybe I shouldn’t have been reading that as a kid …
The alien comics are like that, as well. I remember getting my hands on one of them amd being really surprised by the language. But only because I was kinda young, like your story, and my experience with comics was marvel and dc, not dark horse.
