I still don’t even understand what “growing up” is supposed to mean.

All my time alive, so far as I can tell, it just means actively ceasing the things you enjoy and actively deciding to become a boring person with a boring perspective, imagination, and lifestyle. It’s like deciding to check out and do things made up by stangers from before you were born. It also seems really bad for your physical and mental health.
