literally 2 days ago i had my second checkup with my new pcp since i started hrt earlier this year and hadnt seen him since, and the nurse offered me flu, covid, and tetanus vaccines all at once and i absolutely agreed. little did i know that getting the flu and covid shot in one arm fucking hurts like someone boxed my shoulder for the next 24 hours. the tetanus one hurt too, but not nearly as bad.
Had the worst inoculation recently. It was subdermal, and they poked through my skin and out the other side. And then refused to apologize or acknowledge it.
I got the shingles vaccine and I asked about side effects or if it hurts. The nurse said that they didn’t know, this was their first time giving it. Yeah that shit hurts instantly and it fucked me up for days.

My late Dad got shingles right before a planned European trip with a family group. Spent the whole trip in a wheelchair. He said having the wheels go over cobblestones was the worst pain he had ever felt.
We all ran out and got the vaccine after that.
Did your’s hurt or take a few days to recover? I was down for the count the next day and then the day after
It hurt at the vaccination site, and everyone was down for a whole weekend. The first few Covid vaccines felt the same way.
The dad got actual shingles which prompted the rest to get the vaccine
Yeah I got that, I am referring to the vaccine
