“Lets hide behind this bulletproof car in case he throws his breadstick at us”. Afterall, US police have decades of experience playing the victim, their training aligns with it.

“Watch out! He’s got a giant breadstick!”

He was even trying to avoid hitting the dog because he clearly did not want to hurt it.

    America is lost.

The trigger discipline of that cop…

    Against a guy who has… a stick?

Where I’m from the police probably would be under inspection for just pulling the gun out.

American police are the violence arm of the American Apartheid. They exist only to suppress black and brown people, and occasionally enforce the law when low income white people do something heinous to other white people of equal or greater economic background.

I counted at least 14 brave men in uniform cowering behind one of their giant freedom trucks in response to a man with a stick (who seems to be distraught, or having a mental health crisis). Such an arse-backwards country.

        Re: knifeman in the title.

Probably just really lazy editing and not understanding the actual story. It says he struck the parking attendant with a broken cane causing lacerations.

I mean… A broken piece of wood can be sharp enough to pierce/slash the skin. Lacerations usually means knife but either AI or the editor skimmed the article and modified the headline to be more outstanding and made it factually incorrect.

It also says he was later tracked down and found wielding the 6 foot stick, so the video only shows said stick and would not include the cane from earlier.

I feel bad for cop dogs, they’re the only ones legitimately “just following orders.”

They don’t know they’re fascists, poor guys.
