Hacker reverse engineers his Samsung TV and finds on-device AI listening for your dog and baby, watching what you watch, and borrowing your soundbar’s mic if the TV doesn’t have one. Then OpenAI banned him for reverse-engineering it.

I hope we manage to make complete sinkhole/host lists for spyware tv’s (or other hardware) soon. That way a lot more people can tell em to piss off.
Main issue is they might not user your local DNS at all, easier to just not let them connect at all.
