I feel like they want to make it so physical PC’s are dead and you just buy a screen that streams it from some Nvidia server. That way you can’t pirate, or download a song. And since they own it all it’s a monthly subscription they can increase slowly over time.

Maybe but it’s worth pointing out that the stuff Nvidia is producing is only good for making and running AI models, not for serving audio and video. So many resources and so much money have pissed up the wall in pursuit of a tech bro AI bubble, it’s infuriating to think of what could’ve been accomplished. Instead all we’ll be left with is a bunch of highly specialized compute that will soon be available for pennies on the dollar and some half finished giant warehouses

What the actual fuck? It’s just fiberglass! It doesn’t take a billion-dollar fab like the chips do; how can they possible corner the goddamn market on it?!

Perhaps not enough companies printing? Unless it’s very specifically the raw material cost

Probably gonna need to use the parts to build your perimeter protection and alert bots during the fall of mankind when that happens

Odds are, they’ll be repurposed for cloud computation and/or social media bot farms.

So, no. I doubt it. Although I would like cheap hardware, considering my main machine is from 2010.
