Forgot to add this, for some reason (no idea what) the trashcan is mostly clear plastic. I’m glad it was so clean, just paper used for drying hands in it I think. That could easily become a horrible thing to have to look at.

**Edit: ** could be a safety reason for the employees who have to empty it? Though I feel it would still be easy for someone to hide anything in the middle of the pile or at the bottom.

Uuuugh, imagine you go into an abandoned hospital or something and everything is all weathered, broken and dirty and you open a door to a spotless bathroom with this and you hear what you wrote in a weird soft voice. Few things make you go “yeaNOPE, I’d rather shit my pants than have any part in this”.

But, unending paper rolls! Imagine how easy the service is since you only have to replace the paper rolls every two years.

But at the cost of every wipe taking a small part of your soul… We’re past the covid TP panic, you don’t have to be ok with consequences like this for just wiping anymore.

Yes! I was showing the photo to some friends and one if them took a serious and oddly long look at it, she (as all if us) was far from sober, and just said “look into the bowl”. Without knowing about that extra face it sounded so ominous.

I cann see 3 faces, one with the rolls as eyes, one with the rubber stops on the lid and the one in the bowl.

And now I don’t know which one the title is about.

I see what you mean, but got bad news.
There’s a third roll that’s on the left handle which is the one you take from, the handles were just folded up when I took this photo.
But you gave me a vision; imagine it like a VCR or tape deck, the paper goes from one roll to another and you spin them to wipe, your butt being the write head for the “tape”, a trail of shit getting “written” to the tape.

        “Sounds kind of risky, brb.”

I want a sign with that written on it, like one of those “home sweet home” cloth ones with letters from string woven into them (no idea what’s they’re called). We should all think like that a little more, but only a little and not for real dangerous shit.

That seat looks like the most uncomfortable thing ever… and I’ve had my legs fall asleep while on the john before.

It’s alright, but it’s made to function better for people with disabilities so it is as it is to help more than just be comfortable. I’ve had lots of people with all kinds of disabilities through my whole life and always had an interest in the design of everything around us, especially things like this where it’s about function for those that are in some way different. It’s just better for everyone as it is absolutely fine for “normal” people but is better than normal/more common ones for those with mobility issues etc.
