Hello, I am new here and I just want to introduce myself and my Community - BikersClubFrance We have a group on Facebook and it has never really suited our club which was originally an old style forum. It will be difficult to convince our members to move over to here but I have to try. The group is the main reason I am on Facebook and I don’t like being there…I’m sure many of them don’t either. We share experiences, organise bike trips, meet ups and use the group to ask bike related questions. So, if you are a biker, motard, pillion, Anglophone and live or ride in France, please come and hang out in this space from time to time. You may be a biker and own a gite or B&B… We can dedicate a post to accommodation. You may break down and need a garage to fix your bike, new contacts around France would be useful. We look forward to welcoming you. The Community hangs out here:

FAQ:

Q: Why do I get a 404?

A: At least one user in an instance needs to search for a community before it gets fetched. Searching for the community will bring it into the instance and it will fetch a few of the most recent posts without comments. If a user is subscribed to a community, then all of the future posts and interactions are now in-sync.

Q: When I try to create a post, the circle just spins forever. Why is that?

A: This is a current known issue with large communities. Sometimes it does get posted, but just continues spinning, but sometimes it doesn’t get posted and continues spinning. If it doesn’t actually get posted, the best thing to do is try later. However, only some people seem to be having this problem at the moment.
