So the laptop with win11 comes out every month or so. After the 3-4 hours of updates and 2-3 reboots, it’s up and running for the 30minute task I have.
It’s windows 11 - it overwrites settings and installs whatever the fuck it wants. It’s not as bad where you are because of the EU laws. I then spend some time removing all the shit etc it forced onto the machine this time.
Lmao, I also use Linux, but for my personal server. I’ve pro softwares who only works with Win. Wine don’t support them.

Have you tried to disable optional Updates ?
