Its not about “getting even”, its about ensuring these people don’t have an ounce of political power going forward. We cannot allow them back in government.
100% this, and I’ll add that in addition to the visible and elected people, it’s their financiers that need to be targeted in a serious way. Like, we didn’t break organized crime in this country by just cracking down on the enforcers and hitmen, we dropped the hammer on their accountants and accounts and then all the lower level guys who weren’t getting bail or lawyers or anything flipped. This is the exact same kinda problem.
