What do you call those of us who have never heard of Tesco?
Implausible.
I will sometimes call “big Tesco” “propper Tesco”
When I lived in the UK I never saw the express or extra, but I did hear some people calling them “Tescos”, as in pluralising them like some people do with Lego. I guess it was foreshadowing of the different breeds.
Isn’t it more “Tesco’s”, the possessive rather than plural? In the way you’d go to your mate’s or your mum’s or Jimmy’s. I feel like we do that with shops too. I’m pretty sure I say Tesco’s and Lidl’s. Sainsbury’s has it built in.
I think it’s Tesco’s
