Pictured in this meme: Midwestern American introduced to food containing fiber experiences what it’s like to not be constipated for the first time.

You say this but I think that there is a large part of the population that is lactose intolerant and doesn’t even know it. They out here shitting like crazy and think it’s normal.

Ya got to ease into that fiber diet. Once you do though it’s pretty rewarding. Lower risk of cancer, better gut health, and your shits are practically self wiping.

The last point is so underrated, it seems minor but honestly feels life-changing when you actually get that for the first time

I’ve been switching to a more vegetarian diet these past 2 weeks. Heavy in beans. My farting has slowed down and my shits have been easier. Not for health reasons, just cheaper.

It’s grim that it comes to that but vego meals can be way cheaper and also much easier to prepare. Prep equipment can just be rinsed off with water mostly, and veg is much more tolerant of being undercooked and overcooked so you can save heaps of time and effort compared to regular meat meals.

This is true. I’m very confident in my cooking abilities but I simply can’t afford meat as often. The problem I’m facing now is I actually crave it. It feels good to eat meat.
