Yeah, concluding that from 1 day’s worth of trading is brave. Last 5 years or so shows much more volatility but still generally upwards… I can’t be bothered to see what those general spikes align with.
That makes me believe people are seeing though these bullshit marketing stunts but let’s wait until the market opens on Monday after all the video has been marinating over the weekend everywhere.
all that tech already existed, and is used elsewhere on actually cool things that do stuff. it just wasn’t applied to cars because there’s no practical purpose aside from trying to boost public sentiment and stock valuation.
sure it was sort of neat, but seeing real machines work on those principles is even neater. it just looks less cool because, y’know, safety
I guess I could hook up an air compressor along the tesla charger and keep it hovering instead of landing it. Bonus, it would keep the snow off the roof.
Fuck musk and all that, but this was a damn cool stunt and some seriously impressive engineering.
Why does there have to be a “but” there? He didn’t do any of the engineering, so fuck him regardless.
Unfortunately he paid the engineers to make this stunt for the sole purpose of increasing his wealth.
I don’t think it’s going to work out for him this time, but I’ve been wrong before

COVID and gas price, then Trump and gas prices?

I would install a roof top parking on my house, transform the driveway into garden.
Roof load of 1700kg car?

To push car up, wind of greater force must push down on roof.
No snow, true.
You’d be surprised how much snow can weigh. Though it is usually not so heavy in such a small space.
Great way to get a shitty car into your living room.
Dont be silly, if I wanted it in the living room, I couild just open the windows and fly it in.
Musk didn’t do shit tbh, it’s all engineers and marketing team.
