I’m gonna spam once more this and say that I have blocked all USA drama slop politics. I’m happy person with no forced feed USA politics drama slop in my feed. USA started all these wars in middle East, USA is killing the world, USA should pay for all the damages. No more fucking victims of USA.
The best part about the fall of the american empire is their news will eventually become irrelevant. British news was globally important the same as the US for a long time until their empire got old tired and bankrupt.

Brace yourself, “both sides same” is coming.
If we replaced First-past-the-post voting with something that let people transfer their votes if their preference didnt win, there wouldn’t be a spoiler effect.
Then multiple parties could compete on who can beat the Republicans the best. Debates could be held even if Republicans dont show up. Republicans would feel free to vote for a more reasonable political party.
These crucial reforms arent front and center in every blue state, so the democrats want the spoiler effect. Democrats want things this way. Democrats want people who are unrepresented by the two party system to remain unrepresented, right alongside the republicans. Both sides want the two party system to exist.
Unfortunately for the two mainstream political parties, the United States of America is more important then either of them. We will begin to heal when people get the chance to vote for who represents us best. Yall get to decide when that begins. Choose wisely.
Normally this is where I would link some videos on the flaws of FPTP voting, and on much more representative electoral alternatives. Those times have past us by.

I like to spread that message, along with a helping of “there’s no point in voting, it’s all rigged anyway”, in right wing message boards.
People should vote, but how we vote is broken and we should have fixed it decades ago.
Peaceful revolution is not possible.

Europeans spent 40 years trying to ignore American politics, and look where it got them.
Europeans spent 500 years making everyone suffer for European politics and now they can’t handle that the feed on their pretty lights box isn’t about them.
It doesn’t need to be about either one of us. This is narcissistic thinking.
When something politically significant happens in the EU, it gets contained in the political community hell. When something politically significant happens in the USA, it’s forced everywhere and you can’t escape it even if you don’t give the slightest of fucks.
This is not an insult or coming from a place of ego.
But.
The US affects more people globally than the EU. So news about what the biggest gun in the world is doing is going to go everywhere, since it affects everyone directly.
And with most of the users living in big gun land or effected by it, that info will spread. The EU doesn’t effect as many people, especially the US, so less people hear about it.
It’s gotta be about someone, and I’m not going to complain in fifty years when it’s all about China (because I’ll be dead)
