As a hard-of-hearing person, I need either subtitles, or super-loud volume. But bad sound-mixers in todays movies make everyone mumble right before giant explosions.

And I really hate that Meta fucked up smart-glasses for everyone. We could have had IRL subtitles for people like me on local-only glasses, that don’t record people, but they had to make it creepy.

You use subtitles because you couldn’t hear what they just said, I use subtitles because I wasn’t paying attention to what they just said, we’re not the same.
