That’s why I never really fell into religion. Like 10 times in recent history, the apocalypse or rapture was supposed to happen; people were clapping their hands for Jesus’ return, thinking they’d be chosen to ascend or go wherever. For how long exactly? Have they always been like this? I can’t help but stand there wondering if those people aren’t wrapped too tight and loose with reality; they kind of worry me. It’s like they actually want the world to end every waking day, and they believe it.
