How long before the billionaires ban surgical methods of birth control, too?

Hysterectomies are notoriously difficult to get without husband’s permission in the US. Even when the person trying to yeet their uterus needs it gone for medical reasons. Not a long shot to see it attempted yet within Trump’s two years left.

As for stopping men from getting vasectomies? Lol, yeah right.

He might have a multi-series deal with Apple, that’s not uncommon. I just watched Dan Levy’s latest comedy which is part of a multi-series deal he has with Netflix. Mike Flanagan had the same with Netflix, now he’s mid-deal with Amazon I think it is, whatever platform Carrie came out on.

User Tags. I skim right past when I see a wave of posts from the same user tagged profile. I use red tags for “do not engage” and yellow for “comment with caution”. This is my alternate approach to reporting them (assuming they haven’t really broken a rule or when the mods aren’t active) or to blocking them (not enough users on Lemmy for that, I only block bots and fully public Nazis/pedos).

Why not controlled flooding? Controlled fires are consuming a backlog of available fuel to mitigate the chances of a future uncontrolled fire. A flood wouldn’t be relieving any sort of equivalent pressures, they’re not analogous.

I like the idea of a white “peace” poppy. I assume used as a quiet but visible way to protest, eg, any support of the a Israeli government’s genocide of Palestinian people.

I liked it. I admit to being biased in favor of Flanagan. I have critiques, but net enjoy every single thing he’s made that I have seen so far.

I was fine with the alteration to the end with how the deaths came about, diverting from the book and setting up a second season. I’ll stop there to avoid spoilers.
