Kill anyone that kills, recursive kills, nice. Also a problem with death penalty laws, right America?
You can kind of get around that. Executions by firing squad in some places have blanks in some of the rifles that are than handed out randomly, so every shooter can plausibly deny that they killed anyone.
Japan does a similar things with their hanging. 3 people press 3 switches but only one of them triggers the trapdoor.
The process needs 3 people so all 3 are responsible
Well no, it would only need one but you don’t know which one.
Well all get attempted murder because they were willing to kill even if it wasn’t their button.
Well, murder is unlawful killing, this is lawful killing, so no murder charges in the first place.
But the post here is just talking about “killing” anyway. Not sure what’s the bible’s position is on Schrödinger’s killings.
It’s not lawful in mine and many eyes. State sponsored revenge killing.
But lawfulness does not depend on your opinion (unless you are part of the supreme court or equivalent). It depends on the law. You can call it immoral but it’s lawful by definition.
If the requirements is to have three different people press three buttons, and one out of the three doesn’t agree to participate, they can’t follow the process and nothing happens.
I don’t think it’s a requirement to have all 3 buttons pressed. It’s not a fail-safe, the purpose is to obscure who is responsible. So I assume two of the buttons are duds and one is live. And they probably randomly rewire them before every execution.
Their god’s like:
snaps fingers
“Damn! They found the loophole! I, an omniscient god, cannot possibly know which of these guys killed that other guy!”
Gods hate this one trick!
Yeah an omniscient god would totally be able to tell who did it. But for some reason he doesn’t do the killing himself but commands us to do it instead … while not even sharing his intel. Quite the odd fellow.
You can kind of get around that, just build a swimming pool, then remove the exit and wall up the pool.
Ezekiel 18:4 doesn’t say to kill. It says they’ll die, but that’s more in an existential afterlife sense.
Edit: Also, God does the killing in 1 Samuel 6:19–20.
This feels like a bit of a Gish gallop. The Bible “commanding us” to kill someone and God killing someone are two very different things within the Bible. (Which the Bible already commands us to kill enough people that I don’t know why the list decided to use flimsy examples like this.)
Oh thank you for saying that. I was really worried I might have gotten curious about that second one there.
Edit: Also, the kill all males after combat, I assume they mean the ones who partook right. Or is it just those that lose?
Kill the men and boys. Kill women, but do as you wish to them first. Kidnap the girls, but check to make sure they are virgins first.
Hey baby, wanna kill all humans?
Lick my battery
Rather straightforward rules. What’s the problem?
Everybody’s dead.
I’m not seeing the issue
Hamlet, is it you?
Does it command to kill those who did not kill despite command
Well, killing is a divine command so those that don’t obey are blasphemers.
You know who else demands his followers to kill?
That's right!
Heavy metal riff and chainsaw sounds
IT’S KHORNE BITCHES! KILL! MAIM! BURN!

The last one really wraps it up perfectly
Most of these people were pardoned by all the retcons in the second book of the franchise though.
The New Testament is not one book. The Bible is an anthology of 66 books. The second book “of the franchise” is Exodus.
Abd suddenly the MAGAts are saying to not Interpret the bible word by word, except for the parts on abortions and gays…
It wasn’t very sudden. They’ve been like that.
Morals come from god. 🤣🤣🤣
Old Testament be like that

Call upon two bears to maul 42 boys who mocked you for being bald (2 Kings 2:23-24)
They sure enjoy killing.
