    What were you using before Sway?

    I tried to switch from KDE to Sway semi recently, but the learning curve kinda threw me back. On top of some technical issues I’m sure were my fault. >.> Maybe some other time.

      I’d recommend playing with it on some side laptop to get into it, before you switch completely. It wasn’t useful for me, but I got very comfortable over time and am super happy with it today.

      Might be your fault, might not be. There’s a lot of apps that don’t play well with the minimalism from Sway and need workarounds.

      It’s always a journey to learn what does and doesn’t work out of box whenever you install minimal software

      I was using hyprland. It’s not necessarily your fault, as one lemmy user has mentioned, many times things just don’t work but can work with workaround.
