I read a book with a diver named Cove once. It was mercifully rare for her to be addressed by name.
Hey stupid it would be much faster with control h.
Yer a wizard, Gizzard!
At least anon reads books
Make sure you use a smart search and replace tool, though. I still remember many years later reading a story with a protagonist named Virginia, and then hitting a scene with a bunch of commentary about a character’s “vaVirginia”. It was memorable both for the “suddenly pornography” element of it and also the “ah, in an earlier draft of this story the protagonist’s name used to be shortened to Gina!” realization.
Doing a dumb search for " Gina " then " Gina’s" with case sensitivity turned on then doing an interactive search for “Gina” would have prevented that tragedy, and doesn’t need to be a ‘smart’ tool.
Also, feeding the text before and after into Diff can give a pretty good indication if there were fuckups. Revision control is always good.
Its kind of the other way around, but it reminds me of the D&D handbook version where they scrapped the name “mage” and instead went with “wizard” but were lazy about the find and replace process, so you had weapons doing “1d6 piercing dawizard” on a successful hit.
You talking shit about Tanaka

OK so we know OP in the screenshot isn’t named Jason or Tanaka. That narrows it down.
jason hate is fully legit 🥰
This is how people get cursed by the Greek gods
I’ve done this in some fanfics. I can’t handle fics that make Harry Potter a girl and don’t bother to change the name.
She’s👏called👏Harlot👏Potter👏and👏she’s👏trans!
Reminds me of Harrow the Ninth.
