What are your thoughts on the Ori story? I felt like the Goa’uld was peak star gate and didn’t care much for seasons after that. Episodically it’s fine, but the overall story wasn’t as gripping.
I am interested in checking out FarScape though since it’s those same characters

They found a way to connect to faraway regions of space and shortcut the journey, and decided a facility was necessary to protect against hostile intrusions and be a hub. Also something about returning control to the natives. Religion / religious zealots bad.

That’s a quote from the TV show, it’s referencing that in the original movie O’Neil is written with one L and he’s a serious character, but on the TV show he’s named O’Neill with 2 Ls and makes jokes regularly.
