Thanks :) I can’t tell you how long I’ve spent subscribing to as many communities as I can and interacting with posts. Not for the love of doomscrolling or anything (though, I do love a good scroll), but purely to establish those federation links, lol
I wanted to be honest, though. Subbing to every single community felt obnoxious and dishonest, so I kept within my interests. It paid off, though! I actually care about the content on my feed, and I’m getting a lot of like-minding individuals flooding in. Most everyone who has passed through has been super passionate about their interests (both r1b.it-related and not) and very positive – exactly what I like to see. You’re a perfect example, my friend ;) Thank you for your expressed support!
Edit: Apologies for the wall of text… Two applications at once got me a little excited, and I’m prone to over-expressing myself. Woopsie! At least you know you’re appreciated
Yes, I understand. Someone on Hexbear had made a bot to subscribe to everything on the fediverse accessible by HB to make sure everything was visible by default, so, I’m not sure what happened with that but that’s a possibility if you’d like. Maybe the code is out there somewhere?
Just saw this on Hexbear. Great work on getting your federation up and running and having users try out your instance!
I also just saw this from HB. Good luck to the frogiverse!
