I mean that the fake texts with intentionally bad spelling stereotyping Chinese people acting like a racist charicature is similar to the racial charicatures of the 1800s, was that unclear?

        https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_recognition_of_Taiwan

        Get out of here.

Did you read that article you’re linking to? Did you notice how many UN member states actually recognize the Republic of China (Taiwan) as a country? Eleven.

For comparison, a lot of people in the United States and Europe would confidently tell you that Palestine is definitely not a country, but it is actually recognized as one by 157 of the 193 members of the UN.

Thats why its a joke to us here in the states where the common sentiment is with the rebellious colony breaking away from its imperialist roots.

Id sooner block you than get in to a discussion about Palestine with you even knowing I agree Palestine should have statehood from the onset.

I’m not sure how that has anything to do with anything I said.

The texts werent even a character. Your claims of racial stereotyping are absurd.

Lmao. Yes, the Chinese scammer breaking character at the mention of Taiwan to say “Fuk you,” definitely not a charicature or stereotype and it’s totally absurd to suggest it.

What’s next? Just start making jokes like full on, “Me so horny, me love you long time?”

What do you mean? Taiwan is independent for all intents and purposes, but is not, nor if I’m not mistaken does it claim to be, formally an independent country. I acknowledge that reality, yes.

Irrelevant to the fact that Taiwan is an independent country.

do you mean that you think it is an independent country, or rather, that you think it should be one?

if you believe they are already independent, why do you think they still have an active independence movement? do any other independent countries have that? 🤔

So is Taiwan part of China or is it not? Because if they haven’t renounced their claims, then they’re still maintaining that they’re part of China, are they not?

When was it that they formally declared independence btw? When should I celebrate Taiwanese Independence Day?

No, it’s not about “China” not accepting Taiwan as a country, because “China” does not typically engage in text messages, seeing as it’s not a person.

It’s about a stereotypical Chinese person acting and speaking in a way that the person who created the fake texts decided to make them. Which is, first trying to scam people, then being so triggered by the mention of Taiwan that they break character, then misspelling a word in a stereotypical way.

Taiwan is just how you justify the rest of it to yourself.

But they didn’t have texts in the 1800s and that’s a political cartoon used to support the Chinese exclusionary act. I think you may be confused. I take it you’re a fan of Taiwan and its sovereignty then?

Yes, this is what makes it a joke. Because the only difference is the format that’s changed, while the racial sensibilities are about the same.

Chinese exclusionary act not anti scamming propaganda.

Hey now, if you get to define your racist charicature in your own terms, don’t you think you should let them do so to? I’m sure the Workingmen’s Party of California would say that it’s just “anti-capitalist” propaganda, the capitalists being the ones who let those damn Chinese come in and take our jobs.

Of course, it’s bullshit in both cases.

I take it you’re a fan of Taiwan and its sovereignty then?

What does Taiwan have to do with anything?

“charicature” isn’t a word. You’re looking for caricature and not only can you not spell it but you clearly don’t know what it means. You posted a racist caricature, I did not. Everything else you’ve said is also false. Me asking “what do you mean” is bait and I figured you’d say dumb enough shit to embarrass yourself/.ml. congratulations, ya dun it.

                My mistake.

You’re looking for caricature and not only can you not spell it but you clearly don’t know what it means.

Well let’s see. Say you depict a Chinese person as

                1. A scammer

                2. Someone who gets so triggered at the mention of Taiwan that they drop everything else

                3. Someone who spells “fuck” like “fuk”

I would say that that fits the definition pretty damn well.

Everything else you’ve said is also false

Ooh, neat line. Everything else you said is false too. Real time saver.

I mean yeah if you’re making your own definitions up for words you can call anything anything lmfao. China Post has been used in massive numbers to commit scams/fraud. The joke is rooted in reality because this has been happening recently. Anyone with a brain knows all Chinese people aren’t scammers. That same brain haver would recognize the silly aspect that they spell a word like parcel/arrive correctly then misspell fuck.

Oh, I see. Your position is that it’s not a stereotype, on the basis that Chinese people really are scammers.
